TCG Card Shop Simulator FAQ
All Questions
How do you play the card game in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
Walk up to a play table where a single customer is already seated and press RMB, or the right face button on a controller. A match runs 3 to 5 minutes and the shop keeps trading while you play. The full rulebook is readable at the Workbench. See our Tetramon TCG page for the turn order.
How do you build a deck?
Interact with the Workbench tabletop and choose Deck Edit. A legal deck is exactly 50 cards. Sort by type so evolution lines group together, and keep roughly four copies of your core Basic for every one or two of its evolutions — evolutions cannot be played onto an empty board.
Is card grading worth it?
Only on cards that are already valuable. Every submission costs a slot, a fee and up to 12 days. 38.4% of initial gradings come back Gem Mint 10, so a $5 common graded at 10 is still worth very little, while a full art foil at 10 is a different card entirely.
How many cards are in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
4,436 as of version 1.0, up from 2,714 at Early Access launch. The 1.0 Ascension set alone added 1,452. One booster pack contains 7 cards and one box contains 8 packs.
How do you host a tournament?
Buy the Tournament Prize Shelf from MY DIY, fill it with the cards or packs you want to give away, then open the Tournament app on the phone to set the bracket size (8, 16 or 32), the prize tiers and the entry fee. Registration opens today and the event runs the next in-game day. Give every play table a number or participants cannot be seated.
Does TCG Card Shop Simulator have multiplayer or co-op?
No. Steam lists it as single-player, and the developer's own 1.0 FAQ says the Tetramon duels are built against NPCs with no multiplayer planned in the near future. Full details, including the separate game that people confuse it with, are on our platforms page.
Does TCG Card Shop Simulator have codes?
No. There is no code redemption screen in this game at all. The searches that bring people here are for two different titles — TCG Multiplayer Card Shop Simulator, and an unrelated Roblox game with a similar name.
Where does the game save, and can saves be shared?
Saves carried over from 0.70 into 1.0 with no reset needed. There is no cross-save between consoles and Steam. Saves modified by mods can refuse to load after a patch; our mods page explains why removing the mod does not always fix it.
What unlocks at each shop level?
Licenses and furniture, not abilities. Rare packs open at level 5, the Workbench at 10, Epic packs at 12, checkout counters at 15, Legendary packs at 20, Destiny at 25 and Legendary Destiny at 50. Our level unlocks table lists every threshold with its license cost.
Why is nobody buying my expensive cards?
Two usual causes. A shopper only buys a high-value single when they spawn carrying enough money — the wallet cap scales with shop level and expansions — and flooding one product line depresses its demand for days. Our pricing page covers both, including the markup bands that keep the register moving.
